Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
While I had one baby at my side and other children in the cradle, I would work 12 hour shifts cleaning floors and tear off wallpaper. Ha! All was beginning to fall into place, but there was still a long way to go. It would take an enormous amount of effort and shopping my favorite furnishings for this house. In order to stay within the budget, I started by taking my sons to estate sales looking for of diamonds. The schedule we had for the week that consisted of spending the week of Thursday to Saturday scouring sale houses and garages, purchasing new and old things. I spent the rest of the week working on painting and sanding the driveway. The furniture was like this... and that's the place I discovered my love to restore. It didn't matter if our house had already been equipped. There was a market in the area to let me sell my pieces. Eventually, I had too many pieces to store in the space available. My home became a place in which I held open houses where up 1000 people would be able to view the things on my first floor before purchasing these items. Growing Days was created in this home. Not only was my business thriving but I was growing our family of four. As a mom of a child, I found the right way to be able to begin my own business and also be a good mother. Growing Days just seemed to be the right fit. Nora my 4th child was born in 2013. This was an excellent direction for my business but I also needed some time off. I got away from furniture that was vintage to enjoy some quality time with my children. This was precisely what I needed at that time. In the course of a few months, my phone started to ring. I was getting requests from people requesting to help with their home improvement as well as interior design. It was mostly those that came to my house for furniture. Once I had a few months, I took on clients at my pace. Before long I had numerous accounts as well as a home renovations business. If you'd told me that my venture would end up being an idea for the DIY Network show, I likely would have been astonished. As I look back on this situation and think about it, I laugh.
