Zazie is the child of a German cabinet maker from Berlin, Germany in 1991. She was born in Berlin, Germany. She has a mother who is a Social Worker of South Africa-American descent from New York. Jennifer Aniston attended the same high school as Beetz. Beetz went on to study French in Skidmore College after graduating LaGuardia. Following graduation from Skidmore College Beetz began to audition immediately for roles and was eventually offered in the role of Van at Atlanta. Beetz, whose parents were an German dad as well as an African American mother from Berlin, was raised by her parents in New York and spoke German and English. In community theaters as well as local stages from the age of five, Zazie found her joy at the age of six and went on to grow into acting. Zendaya's Disney Channel Breakout role Zendaya's dancing skills paid off. She was finally cast in her first role, Rocky Blue, along with co-star Bella Thorne, on the popular program Shake It Up. Zendaya went vegetarian at the age of 11 after she passed a slaughterhouse on a road trip with her dad. She tells PEOPLE, "I thought it was horrible to see all the animals being stuffed inside the slaughterhouse, waiting to be killed. This was the way I got my meat shocked me. In the past, her daughter has adhered to a plant-based diet.
